Capistra is the third body of work, a part of our Anthology. This series studies the head and the hair: it explores the ways to bind, to frame, and to cover. Using genuine suede and hand-bent sterling silver closures, we created pieces that echo the utility of bands and earmuffs, yet are rendered with a pictorial stillness and a crisp precision of lines.
